Obligations for businesses and professionals listing and delivering services through PointMe.

Last updated 1 August 2026Effective 1 August 2026Version v1.0

1. Purpose and scope

This Service Provider Terms forms part of the PointMe Legal Centre and should be read together with the Terms and Conditions, Customer Terms, Service Provider Terms and the Privacy Policy & POPIA Notice. It applies to customers, service providers, provider staff, visitors and PointMe support and operations teams, unless a section states otherwise.

2. PointMe's role

PointMe is a South African marketplace and business platform. PointMe provides the platform, workflow, messaging controls, notifications, records and support tools. Unless PointMe expressly states otherwise for a specific service, the service provider remains responsible for delivering the service, managing staff and honouring pricing agreed with the customer.

3. Listing and delivering services

Providers must list accurate services, pricing, availability and service areas, and must hold any licences, permits or insurance required for the work performed. Providers are responsible for their staff, sub-contractors and the quality of work delivered to customers.

4. Performance and marketplace standards

Acceptance rates, response times, no-show rates and dispute outcomes are monitored. Repeated breaches can result in reduced visibility, restriction or suspension.
