This Privacy Policy & POPIA Notice explains how PointMe collects, uses, stores, shares, protects and otherwise processes personal information when users access the PointMe website, platform, marketplace, provider portal, customer flows, messaging tools, booking flows, quote and invoice workflows, subscription and billing features, promotional features, wallet features, AI Copilot features, analytics and related support channels.

2. Responsible party and controller details

PointMe is the responsible party for personal information processed on this platform. The platform privacy contact is hello@pointme.services. Final registered-entity, Information Officer and physical-address details should be confirmed before publication.

3. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to customers, service providers, provider owners, provider admins, provider staff, visitors, support users, operations users and people who submit complaints, report abuse or request data-rights assistance.

4. Categories of personal information

Depending on the features used, PointMe may process identity and account data, contact data, customer booking data, provider business and staff data, payment and billing data, communication data, marketing preferences, technical and device data, location data, AI interaction data and support and safety data.

5. How we collect and use information

Information is collected directly from users, automatically through platform usage and from providers or service partners where reasonably necessary. It is used to operate accounts, enable discovery and bookings, process payments, send notifications, provide support, improve the platform and comply with law.

6. Sharing, transfers and retention

PointMe may share information with providers, customers, payment processors, messaging providers, hosting and cloud providers, security and verification vendors, professional advisers and authorities where necessary and lawful. Some suppliers may process information outside South Africa and appropriate safeguards should be used.

7. Data subject rights and complaints

Users may contact hello@pointme.services to request access, correction, deletion, objection, withdrawal of consent, marketing opt-out or other applicable rights, subject to identity verification and legal limitations.
