Terms and Conditions

The master agreement between you and PointMe covering accounts, bookings, payments, wallets, promotions and platform conduct.

Last updated 1 August 2026Effective 1 August 2026Version v1.1

1. Introduction and acceptance

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the PointMe platform, website, mobile applications and related services. By creating an account, browsing services or making a booking, you accept these Terms.

2. PointMe's role as marketplace operator

PointMe connects customers with verified service providers. PointMe is not the supplier of the services listed and does not employ service providers. PointMe provides booking workflow, on-platform messaging, quotes and invoices, payment-link routing, promotional placements, reviews and support tooling.

3. Accounts, eligibility and identity controls

You must be at least 18 years old to hold a PointMe account. Provider accounts may require identity, business and compliance verification before activation. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity performed under your credentials.

4. Payments, gateway, escrow and protected payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways. Where protected payment or escrow functionality is offered, funds may be held until service completion, customer confirmation or an auto-release event. Failed payments, chargebacks and reconciliation are handled in line with the Payments, Invoicing & Wallet Policy.

5. Wallets and credits

Promotion Wallet balances, bonus credits and credits issued for eligible failed promotions are not cash and are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable law. Provider earnings balances, pending funds, release events, payout eligibility and deductions are governed by the wallet and payout rules.

6. On-platform safety and communication

PointMe may require on-platform messaging, use system-generated numbers and restrict off-platform contact or payment in order to reduce scams and fraud. WhatsApp is used for platform and system notifications, not as a replacement for on-platform communication.

7. Suspension, termination and disputes

PointMe may restrict, suspend or terminate access where these Terms or the Trust & Safety Policy are breached. Enforcement decisions are logged and can be appealed through support. South African law governs these Terms.
