Provider Verification Policy

How PointMe verifies provider identities, businesses, documents and marketplace eligibility.

Last updated 1 September 2026Effective 1 September 2026Version v1.0

1. Purpose and scope

This Provider Verification Policy forms part of the PointMe Legal Centre and should be read together with the Terms and Conditions, Customer Terms, Service Provider Terms and the Privacy Policy & POPIA Notice. It applies to customers, service providers, provider staff, visitors and PointMe support and operations teams, unless a section states otherwise.

2. Information and documents

PointMe may request identity, business registration, address, payment-account and other information reasonably needed to verify a provider. Documents must be current, accurate and belong to the provider or business represented.

3. Review and outcomes

Verification may result in approval, a request for more information, rejection or temporary restriction. Approval is not an endorsement of every service or a guarantee of service quality.

4. Changes and appeals

Providers must keep verification information current and promptly report material changes. A provider may contact support to ask for a review of a verification decision.
